Introduction and Overall Experience

I had booked an appointment with Vienny Nails as a nice outing for me and my sister to spend quality time together. We wanted to go somewhere to feel relaxed and have a calming experience, so I treated us both to a shellac pedicure. We were seated immediately as soon as we arrived. I was pleased with the space’s decorations and could admire the theme of green and pink walls, along with the hanging crystal chandeliers brightening up the space. They had an incredible arrangement of nail polish colours displayed making it look more professional. Some of the chairs looked scuffed like they had received lots of love from pervious clients; making me think they had given other clients an amazing nail experience. I was satisfied with the process and the result of my shellac pedicure. My nails looked exactly like the nail example I picked out, and I was happy about how the sparkly nail polish shined at the end. I would recommend others to visit Vienny Nails, but there are some noteworthy things that happened during my experience that I think should be mentioned.

Vienny Nails is located inside Valley Fair Mall, which makes it a very accessible area for many living in Maple Ridge. My sister and I were able to enjoy a scenic walk in the sun on the way to our nail appointment. It was a convenient spot for people to run errands before or after getting their nails done. There are many shops nearby, and it is also within walking distance of Haney Place Mall. Booking an appointment with Vienny Nails was easy and straightforward. I searched their phone number online, called them, and they answered right away and were able to fit both of us in on the same day.

Vienny Nails Maple Ridge Cleanliness & Salon Atmosphere

The nail salon’s stations looked tidy and seemed properly prepared for each client’s arrival. They had plastic lining in the foot tub, a fresh towel on the foot stool, and brought out a clean dish of reusable tools. Before starting the pedicure, they wore clean gloves and masks. I did not notice any issues with cleanliness during my visit. The electric massage chairs were not my personal favourite, as they felt intense and the controls were unclear, but the salon itself felt bright, calm, and welcoming.

Vienny Nails Shellac Pedicure Review: Service & Quality

I booked a standard pedicure, but it ended up being a shellac pedicure. Our appointment lasted about an hour, which felt appropriate. We were given a large selection of colours, and my sister and I chose matching designs with different shades. She selected sparkly blue, while I chose sparkly purple. My feet felt soft and refreshed afterward. The shellac polish was applied neatly with multiple layers, cured under a UV light, followed by the design and top coat. I was very happy with the final result.

Vienny Nails Staff Service, Timing & Customer Experience

During the appointment, I noticed my pedicure started much earlier than my sister’s, even though we booked at the same time. It seemed the salon was short-staffed or managing overlapping appointments. This led to me finishing well before her. Aside from that, the technician listened carefully when I explained concerns about cutting my nails too short. They were cautious, professional, and respectful throughout the service. Staff interactions seemed friendly, and some technicians chatted with customers while others preferred a quieter experience.

Vienny Nails Maple Ridge Prices & Value for Money

For two people to receive shellac pedicures at Vienny Nails, the total came to $125.58 including tips. That works out to roughly $62 per person. While it was a fun outing and a nice treat, it felt expensive for regular visits. I would consider returning for other services, especially manicures, which seemed popular during my visit.

Final Review: Is Vienny Nails and Spa Maple Ridge Worth Visiting?

Vienny Nails and Spa is a bright, clean, colourful salon with friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. The technicians appear to care about the quality of their work and creating a positive experience. My visit was enjoyable, though better appointment timing and slightly stronger value pricing would improve the experience further. I would visit again in the future and would like to try some of their other services.
